The initiative led by Andriy Barchyshyn brings together partner organizations and the Ukrainian diaspora in the United Kingdom, including a long-standing collaboration with Hospice of Hope, to deliver essential medical supplies, mobility equipment, and direct support to hospitals, veterans, and people with disabilities in Ukraine. The project strengthens local capacity in trauma care and rehabilitation while restoring dignity and hope to those recovering from war-related injuries.
Update in 2025
Building on the impact achieved in 2024 — including sustained support to the Regional Center for Combat Trauma and Bone and Purulent Surgery at the Zdolbuniv Central District Hospital — our partnership continued to expand both in reach and in depth.
Throughout 2025, additional deliveries of wheelchairs, crutches, and essential medications were distributed to veterans with limb loss, frontline hospitals, and community-based social service institutions. These supplies have strengthened local rehabilitation capacity, improved mobility for injured defenders, and reduced the burden on overstretched medical teams in regions receiving evacuated patients.

These contributions are not just supplies; they are instruments of hope, healing, and resilience for those rebuilding their lives after injury.
Beyond material assistance, this initiative continues to serve as a bridge between the Ukrainian diaspora in the United Kingdom and communities in Ukraine — transforming solidarity into practical, life-changing support. Each shipment represents not only medical aid, but a reaffirmation that those recovering from war-related injuries are not alone.
We remain deeply grateful to Andriy Barchyshyn, Hospice of Hope, and the Ukrainian diaspora in London for their steadfast commitment. Together, we continue to reinforce resilience, restore dignity, and support recovery across Ukraine.
